I'm building a project fixie.

I got a perfect frame except that it did not come with any forks. I already had spare forks in the shed. The only problem is, there is an unsightly gap between the crown and the bottom of the headtube. Are there any bits that I could use to fill in this gap? I thought maybe a stem spacer might work.

got a pic?
on top of the crown should be a crown race for the bearings to sit on, after that there should be the headset cup, no gaps and no spacers will do for this area.
