I will recomend the neck warmer ("Throat coat") for any other buissness.
I use one at work and I find it far more practical than a scarf.
I have not tried it on my bike, it might be too warm.
Has anybody tried that kind of thing for a cold morning commute?

The chain is cheap - useful to leave at a site if you are based in multiple locations and cycle between them..

Yes, I got a Peter Storm Neck Gaiter from Millets, £12. Its very good for cold winter mornings worn right up to my skull cap under my helmet. Not been cold once this years apart from icy nose.
