Today I fitted my new Salmon Kool Stops on the Apollo MTB. While doing this i thought I would check my indexing as it was a bit off the other day.

One turn clockwise on the barrel adjuster seemed to clear it up but it all sounded a bit clunky. So, I cleaned all the lube from the front chainrings, gears and chain (this is whatever stuff Halfords sprayed all over the place when I last took it in). Lubed up with some White Lightning Wet_Ride and the difference in sound is amazing. It's now almost silent and the indexing seems to be a bit smoother too.

I'll be commuting to work tomorrow and hopefully the bike will run like a dream.

Im busy fitting yet another 12v horn to my bike for tommorows commute.

Now this one is really loud as I noticed tonight the present 12v horn does not sound much like a car horn as I want.

I reckon I could put this new one on par with an air-zound.

A pop down Cannon Street on the way back is a good place to test it.

Also some tit of a WVM left hooked me this morning at Temple Mills so this would have woken him up.;)
