All right from sidcup

Hello, thought it about time I say hello, been looking on this forum for a little while now, and very usefull it's been too!!
Cycle from Sidcup to Cannon St everyday, I've only been cycling just over a year and wished I done it sooner.
Cycling in on a Genesis Flyer which is a great ride and I enjoy it more than the geared road bike, much less to think about just pedal and get on with it.
If you see a tall fella on a Black Flyer going up/down Evelyn Street, Jamica Rd & Greenwich Park area say hello!!!

Just down the road from you in Orpington. I will keep an eye out for you in town, unfortunately I will be in my Black Cab. (when I would much rather be out riding my bike). Keep safe out there.

There's a few around Sidcup/Orpington. How do you get to Greenwich Park? Do you go over Shooters Hill on a singlespeed?

I ride those roads every day. I get to the Greenwich one way system at about 8am, then follow your route in and then over Tower Bridge.

Cheers all, I'm just off sidcup high st, cycle up to eltham high st then onto that god awful roundabout leading to lee high rd, then right towards blackheath over the common leading into Greenwich park. Not a bad journey on a good day takes 45 mins plus, it's certainly better than using southeastern trains!!!

Welcome Robbie. I'm Bexley/Sidcup borders, I also go down Eltham Hill but I go straight on to Lewisham, Brookmill Road and down Deptford Church Street, then the same way as you to St Paul's. You'll find me either on a Black Pinarello fixed if it's dry, or a 60 year old blue Alcyon fixed if the weather's not so good. I'll look out for you. Cheers.

You don't want to do that Martin. You want to do it on fixed. Much more fun, especially the downhill bit
