... my third baby as it has been called, well over a year's worth of inspiration, head scratching, lightbulb moments, frustration, dropping everything, waking at 3 am, day-dreaming, illegible scribbling, careful best handwriting, red crosses, blue circles, silly mistakes, crossing out, writing back in again, reading aloud, listening, typing, shuffling, leaving alone, reshuffling, saying that is it, binding, wrapping and boxing, addressing, tomorrow to the post office, my poetry manuscript takes it's first journey alone and it is a full month ahead of the agreed date!
