For complicated reasons to do with Inset days and parental taxi service, I am spending today working on my laptop in my car in the National Trust car park at the top of Ditchling Beacon, intermittently gazing at the view over the Weald. Took the Brompton out of the boot to cycle down the Beacon to Ditchling village for lunch and back again. Just while it lasts, I'm feeling the world is a pretty good place :smile:

Did you go to the award winning Bull?
Green Welly. For no better reason than that, when I did my first Brompton of the Beacon earlier in the day and was in search of a coffee, that's where I went, and being a creature of rapidly-formed habit, I therefore went back for lunch :smile:

TV presenter Carol Vorderman has backed a campaign to prevent a row of huge pylons being built across an exclusive 'millionaires' row' close to where she owns a property.
