I've used mine 4 times a day, 5 days a week since Nov with no problems* so maybe I got lucky. I am hoping for years of service from it not months though.
*reflective bits lifting a wee bit notwithstanding.

ah, you've got one of the ones programmed not to degrade predictably and gradually, but to completely disentegrate into dust the day after the warrany runs out
