This is not cycling related.This could be a first,well i have been spending recently on jeans,so into town today for some shoes.Not wanting to pay an arm and a leg for some size 12's i thought i might just see if i could bag a bargain.So into Barratts i used to work there during the summer of 1966.I missed the World Cup cos we had to work saturdays while 17-30,anyway they had a sale on and i bought myself a pair of black Chelsea boots £10 off.I have never owned a pair of Chelsea boots before and mighty fine they look too.Well i had expected to spend £55 on a pair thats what last years Hush Puppies cost,so i am in pocket so i bought a pair of black brogues also.Total spend £50 -99p.So two pairs of shoes and change out of the budget.A good result.
Always up for a bargain.
