i have been out for most of the afternoon at a lunch that turned into a drinking session. Mrs Greedo was going to pick me up but I said I wouldn't know when I'd be finished. So she's away to the shops.

Just got the train home and as i was walking up the road I noticed 2 of the houses on the road i live have a couple of lights on in the house, no cars and there always is and clean crisp untouched snow on the drives. The houses are set back from the road on our road and quite secluded and the streetlights are not the brightest.

Mmmmm I said to myself. That's an invite to burglars as it's obvious no one is home. So I walk up and down their drives to make foot prints to make it look as if someone is.

The bastard of a thing though when i get up to mine we have been broken into!!!!!!!!!!!

Only kidding!!! but when I got in and got changed and had a cup of tea i kind of thought. Am I pissed? or what!!

It's the sort of pissed good deed that some people do.

When I was a teen I was out with some friends in the countryside wondering home on an unlit 60mph lane in the dark.
There were cats eyes down the centre of the road and we were wondering along following the cats eyes.
As we got close to a sharp bend in the road we noticed the cats eyes were missing in the bend of road.
We pondered this for a moment as we were all new drivers and decided that this was a serious hazzard to traffic as drivers wouldn't be able to see the bend.
So being engineering students we decided to solve this and split in to two groups heading each way up the road from the bend.
We removed one cats eye from each alternate stud in the road and placed them in the 'blind' studs on the bend. We figured that for safety we would only remove one cats eye from each stud and only alternate studs so as not to make the rest of the road more dangerous.
Afterwards we stood back and admired our handiwork and were proud to have done our bit for road safety before heading back to our digs.
At no point did we consider that, while crouched in the middle of an unlit road digging out cats eyes, our lives were at risk from any approaching cars!

Though it will probably get zero votes as, probably being the only person likely to vote in favour, I will be barred, my vote already being cast.

Cheers mate but I doubt anyone would vote either. i was a bit pissed especially after what I done later as I posted on another thread. After Wigsie put an idea in my head

No but I done something else. Drew a big knob shape on their grass area. Thing is. Just as I finished my masterpiece I realised a lot of the houses have securtiy cameras

Just thank god the first house I done it in I know them quite well and they'll find it funny. Don't know the people in the other house as they're not long moved in. so thank f*ck i didn't do theirs.

Mrs Greedo has just told me I'm a d*ck as she came back and i'd left the front door open while I was doing it. She came back just I was walking back along the road with just jeans and a t shirt on

She thinks the knob thing was funny though!
