quiet interesting actually. Wouldn't surprise me if they have more incidents in the US tbh.

Sad, but true. We deal with this ignorance, daily. What did you think of the copper who told the guy that he's required to drive the speed limit, and the judge that AGREED? The only place that I've ever seen posted MINIMUM speeds, is on our Interstate highways. I guess if Amish or Mennonites are driving their carriages and wagons on a 50 mph road, they must drive 50 mph?

We have minimum speeds in the UK, not defined by law, but there is an offence of driving too slowly, and you're certainly not allowed to take vary slow vehicles onto a motorway without an escort

The Blackwall Tunnel, one of Westen Europes biggest bottlenecks has a Minimum speed of 10 mph.

The 'law' must be broken daily many thousands of times, drivers would love to be able to do 10mph through it

Yep, there was a lady who lost her licence as she drove everywhere at 5 mph. She was too scared to go faster. She had a poster on her rear window saying "overtake - don't honk". She was just a very confidential driver.

Still here, just. Been on holiday, although this has mostly consisted of looking after sick children (relatives) catchin the same bugs myself and then getting migranes. Not been my best holiday....

The film of the 4 x 4 passing the American "only a foot away" as a London commuter that is a daily occurrence, it's the ones where the wing mirror is inside the width of the handle bars that spook me.

Magnatom's article in the CTC magazine about makes and models of bike cameras got me thinking, but I think I'll wait until they get down to the sub £50 area before I get one.

The last vehicle that took me out (just before Xmas) hit me from behind on the pannier, so a forward facing camera would not have caught the action, so as on the American bike you really need two cameras.

I was trying to fit the atc as a rearward cam last week. Not for evidence though but for a youtube vid on cycling. Couldnt get it seated comfortably so will try other ideas this weekend.

I think I've seen the US cyclist before on youtube. Having read comments by some americans on the web regarding cyclists I can understand why he does it. I do it myself, lol, for similar reasons. (Proving why I was hit, etc)
