a bit cheeky but has anyone an old pipe lying dusty in a drawer..?
unused, unloved, unwanted.............

I'd like to try some 'shapes' before splashing out on a new pipe

i do know how to clean/sanitize/restore stems

All i used to do was drop the stem into boiling water then carefully blow it out with an old bike pump,also sorry just looked in the drawers and nothing in them pipe wise !
