an ''on-line'' indication thingy

on other forums i frequent, i see a wee button or something alongside the posters avatar to indicate ''on-line''

or am i missing something..?

If you click on that posters avatar you can see whether they are online or not.

It should say 'ianrauk was last seen........'

When I click on your's it says

It would say last seen... (however many) minutes ago...

In my privacy setting i have it switched off anyway.
