Anbox apps

I've just installed Anbox on my laptop, it's a utility that allows you to run Android apps on any Linux system.
It's still in development and there is no user interface for installing apps, you have to install them from a shell using commands like:
$ adb install my-app.apk

Does anybody know where I can get apps like these to install please?
I just want something to experiment with.

Go to https://f-droid.org/ for apks of any of the apps in f-droid

I haven't tried anbox but maybe you could even install f-droid itself and then less need for adb commands
