Quite liked the Cannondale roadie with the mudguards though .....

Good to see Disc brakes for bike getting to be a sensibly small size, though why anyone would want a rear disc on a road bike is beyond me (ok, apart from rim wear I guess).

I find modern bikes are not very photogenic but when you see them in the flesh they do start to look very attractive (Matt black paint jobs excepted).

Disc brakes I do like and principally because of the rim wear issue. It must be a choker to pay a small fortune for a carbon rimmed wheel and have to junk it after a year or two because the braking surface has worn too low.

Agree with tyred. The only one that appeals to me is the 'Look retro road bike'.

Disc brakes do appeal though, for front and back, and not just for reduced rim wear.

One of my bikes is matt black, a wipe with WD40 has it gloss black, it lasts a couple of weeks...........

Bikes are beginning to look so similar (& drab) that I am beginning to like them or not like them depending on the manufacturers name font.
