I was (in the car) stationary at the side of the road yesterday, indicating to pull out. No-one was prepared to let me on to their road so I sat there, patiently, and as they crawled past. Then I spotted a gap. Not too small to cause any trouble, all it would mean was that the audi driver (surprise surprise) behind would have to hang back ever so slightly. So I pulled out.

He was having none of it. How dare I enter the road in front of him without his permission. Despite the traffic coming the other way he lunged alongside me, and when he was still not completely past pulled in front. Where he stopped in the queue.

Idiots. The lot of them.
A lot of words to describe " I failed to give way "

Audi drivers are the worst.
Not at all. Using the road is about sharing space, and concession is essential. I have no problem at all with enabling a vehicle to rejoin a queue of crawling traffic. And I'd hope for nothing less from others.
You may hope, there is no entitlement. . Whichever way you want to dress it up, you decided to force your way into a gap, a gap that was not big enough otherwise it would not have needed anyone to "have to hang back ever so slightly!" The other drivers reaction may well have been out of order, but you instigated the "idiocy"

See this a lot on my commute. Some motorists just simply will not let anyone else have a bit of space.

I have to turn right into the works car park and when the traffic is busy I can be waiting up to 2 minutes before someone will let me in, despite the traffic flowing at no more than 5-10mph they just will not give way.
Weirdly if a car comes up behind me who also wishes to make the same turn the traffic seems to relent almost straight away, gits :cursing:

Unfortunately you see it so much nowadays.
Not saying every driver, but unfortunately, I feel the majority are of the yuck fou mrentality and will try whatever they can get away with to stop you getting out, getting or getting on.
It's even more annoying when you are following signed guidance to merge in turn, or pull into a wrong Lane to stop blocking a roundabout only to find that no one will let you in the correct lane.

I am always getting it in the ear from the wife for "being stupid and letting people in"
Thre seems to be little courtesy on the roads these days.
