2/10 for me primarily as I haven't a clue what the difference between a comprehensive and a grammar school is!

6/10, but there's something a bit dodgy about the whole thing, with its clunky, smug delight at 'catching you out'. The unspoken underlying message would seem to be 'you're wrong to think Britain is a country where your prospects are largely decided by the school you attend'. Which is crap. Without wanting to come on too Dave Spart, it's not hard to establish that, eg, private school education, while accounting for 7% of the population, also represents 71% of senior judges, 62% of senior army officers, 55% of Sir Humphreys and half of the House of Lords.

So what exactly is the BBC up to, with its 'fun quiz' none-too-subtly broadcasting the opposite impression?

And would he have forced you to butter his crumpet?
