What is the procedure (IF Any) for riding in the rain with E-Bike?

My attitude is the same for an ebike as for any other bike. If it is raining heavily I stay at home.
Otherwise I would avoid water that is deep enough to submerge your bottom bracket for a mid motor or your hubs for a hub drive.
Otherwise no problems.

How about this? (Not a recommendation)

So did I when I was a kid

got caught in the rain once and tried it out

it was like riding into a strong headwind all the time

the aero effects were awful - basically a huge air dam from my head to the handlebars and out to my shoulders

A number of people have had issues with the aero effect. Walkers with ponchos have also had issues when a lorry goes past.

Wrap up appropriately.

Do the homework on the make and model as a few can suffer in the wet and there are workarounds out there, but the vast majority require no more thought than a regular bicycle in,the rain.

I have had 4 ebikes (long story - but all worked fine) since 2011

none have had a ny problems with rain or puddles - you just ride through

there is a waterproof cover for my Bosch battery but I think it is more to keep it warm than for the rain

deep standing water might be more of a concern if it gets as high as the battery connector

My Whyte ebike cranks squeak whenever water gets in and around them - haven't found it causing any more problems than that just yet.

If I was locking my ebike outside with the battery removed, I would tend to want to cover the bikes remaining terminals/connections so that they aren't exposed to the wet as they seem to be most likely part that may suffer
