A post in the "General Cycling" thread reminded me of this moment.
Mrs Dave7 and I were to attend a public meeting with approx' 150 present.
Being in a rush I got changed into my suit, went to my top drawer and got a white handkerchief which I put in my pocket.
Before the meeting started we were standing in a group with another 6 people and I had the need to wipe my snozzle. I pulled the handkerchief out..........only to find myself holding up a pair of my wife's knickers.
Fortunately I could also see the funny side so wasn't TOO embarrassed......only enough that it has stayed with me for many years.
