Ended up buying a shorter stem after a bit of discussion, and bumped into the same guy I was chatting to at the Doctor's the other day. Small world it seems.
Stem wasn't in stock so I'll have to pop back down in a couple of days. What a pity, to be forced to go back down and covert the nice bikes there *again*
