Another new bike thread

I had planned to purchase my new bike after christmas and had probably decided on the 2015 giant defy 1 mostly because of the new 11 speed gearing and also very good reviews.
I actually went to the lbs the other day to see it in it's flesh and i have got to say i was impressed, looks better than in the photo's and feels very light.
The other bike in the running was the 2015 cannondale caad 8 105 with exactly the same gearing but £100 dearer(i'm on a tight budget) and more of a racing geometry.I haven't seen any reviews on it yet.
My dilemma now is that i had an email from tredz today in which i can save £125 on the retail price on both bikes and i have looked around and because they are new models i haven't seen any discounting at all.
I have the defy 4 at the moment in medium so if nothing has changed i would suppose that is the size for me but with the 'dale i would be guessing.
This offer ends at midnight this sunday and initially i wouldn't have bought online but the offer seems too good to turn down.
My question to you good folks with your knowledge is should i just go with the giant as i have seen it and i know my size or take a leap into the dark with the 'dale.?

Ashcycles in Essex give 15% of free goods which is actually a bit over the £125, assuming you need some stuff to go with the bike and have the £899 if you prefer to buy in store

Perosnally I'd prefer the peace of mind and free 6 week service, possibility to trouble shoot face to face

Also, Tredz never seem to have anything in stock!

Thanks for all your replies:thumbsup:
It was a very good offer but on reflection i think i would rather buy from a bike shop than the internet.

There are still a few bikes in my price range to view and as @vickster said i would rather have peace of mind and to know i can take it back anytime if anything goes wrong.

I'm getting my Giant Defy 3 2015 from my LBS for exactly the same reason. Offers on t'internet might seem tempting at the time of purchase but the comeback from your LBS if anything goes wrong is hard to beat for buyers like me who are unsure about sizing and setup
