Hello you lot, I've just purchased a very tired old Claud Butler Majestic (circa approx 1983, I think) and was looking around for parts and advice and found Cycle Chat. I'll be looking for lots of advice with regards restoration of this lovely old tourer so be warned. I've been cycling for 40 years, owned many bikes over the years inc a Rayleigh Chopper and a vintage Carlton and currently use a Carrera Virtuoso and an old BSA Courier, oh and the very sad Claud Buttler. I'm from Chelmsford in Essex and have many bikes stolen from the station cycle sheds, the last was an old Falcon hybrid thingy but whoever took it was so unimpressed with it they put it back!
