Hi All,

just joined and already found the forum a very useful tool. I shipped out of the UK (bikes and all) and moved to Italy a few years ago and now enjoying riding the hils and mountains around the Apennine Mountains ranges that are on our doorstep. Also looking forward to the Giro d'Italia this year as one of the finishing stages is also on our doorstep so will be riding the course a few days beforehand and then positioning myself to get a good view on the day.

Ciao all.

Thanks all for the warm welcome, it's good to be aboard. When the sun is shing as it is today (about 25 degs) it's a great place to live, but Italy has its problems. The good cheap wine helps you to forget though. ^_^. Took the kids and bikes up into the Apennines yesterday, but a lot of the roads still closed due to the snow. The children all enjoyed a cycle and a snowball fight though.

Thanks again.
