Hi, I’ve been a fairly keen leisure cyclist (on and off-road) for 20+ years, but with several lenghty periods when the bikes were gathering dust and lots of periods when I could only get out on a bike once a week or so.
As a result of recently being made redundant I’ve started ‘commuting’ (ironically
) and am now getting more miles in than I have for a long time. I’m cycling from South Notts to the North of the City a few times a week.
I’m using my On-One Pompino (singlespeed) when I’m feeling fit or my Pompetamine (hub geared) when I’m not.
I think I'll be posting mainly in the commuter forum as that's what I'm doing at the moment, but I may pop up in one or two of the others as well.
