Another noobie from Manchester

Hi, I'am steve 34 from Manchester with all the gear and no idea newish to cycling joined as I'm planning on doing the Manchester to Blackpool ride in july with work colleges...

to the forum from windy Bolton. The Manchester to Blackpool is a great ride IME, (done it twice now), but I can't do official the organised ride this year due to family commitments
I will be doing it one way another though with a couple of pals on a different day
Good luck with your training. It's not a difficult ride, (as rides go), it's pretty flat with just a couple of short climbs, but it does have a very windy last few miles through St Annes, but the adrenalin and atmoshere of riding with so many others makes the miles fly

I'm planning on doing the Mcr-Blackpool ride too. Will be a leisurely one though as it's with the wife's colleagues for the charity they work for.
