Ant bites

Ok I manged to avoid the mosquitos with some anti mossie wipes this trip...but the ants just wouldnt lay down and die...I got bitten a lot by ants. Is there some way to get the bastards to give up and leave me alone? I never had food in the tent.

I got told once that some parrafin tipped down the whole and a lighter soon gets rid of them

I never seemed to me able to find a nest...they were just everywhere in the south...especially the site at montpellie rplage (which nothing but a giant litter tip itself)...this is a campsite that charges 24 euro for 2m of dirt covered in litter and fag ends. It has bouncers patrolling th ecamp being as aggressive as they can and the worlds biggest ant problem.
