I am looking at two sets of lights for my hybrid, until I can save up for better lights. The lights I am looking at our:

the Moon GEM 2.0 USB Recharge Front LED Light Black
the Black Widow USB Rechargeable Front Bike Light.

I don't know which is the better light to choose. Can anyone advise me please. I cycle round the city and the occasional country road.

If you are riding on unlit roads after sunset both of the lights will not give you enough light to see where you are going .

You can pick up lot of lights a lot cheaper .

I use this site a lot, it means i have to wait a few weeks for delivery but the stuff you get is very cheap and very good for the price.

I used to run 2 of these at around £8 and i could manage unlit roads and had plenty of light for normal commuting.

On the back i have tried a number of lights and i for the price these are very good, a 1/2 watt clone that for £2 each are great

Both run on AAA batteires , if you pick up a charger and batteries you can make a big saving in the long run.

I currently run one of the Magicshine 900 lumen lights on the front which has enough power to see where i am going and more even at full speed on unlit roads, but they are £53 ( which is cheap for what they are )

If you want a light quicker i hear these are good ...
