Hi
Does anyone know of any cycling routes resources which meet some or all of the following criteria?
Interactive map based (I don't have the patience to wade through text descriptions of routes)
Free of charge
Show where you can practically and legally cycle? With the former, I understand people's needs are different, so maybe scored from "this is a dedicated paved cycling track with no motor traffic" all the way to "this is for serious nutters only".
Suitable for making up your own routes from, rather than just prescriptive start and end points
Covering the UK

The closest I have found is opencyclemap, but I cannot work out which bridle ways are practical, and which are not, or which are ok in summer, but really difficult in winter, etc

Thanks for suggestions

I've yet to find anything better/ clearer than a good old fashioned Ordnance Survey Map. Sometimes if I'm planning a ride I'll also use google earth and street view to get an on the ground picture of what the route would be like. There is an O.S. app for a quid or so that covers the whole uk.

It would be good to have a resource with maps and comments from cyclists/walkers about the state of surfaces/ any barriers etc but I have yet to find one, and of course keeping such a thing updated and therefore useful would be a big ask.
