A friend of mine has just picked up this fillet brazed but certainly not a Claud Butler. Its unusual as the top tube and downtube are 1 1/8 in diameter it has a Hobbs lytaloy head set a Baylis Wiley bottom bracket and a Reynolds Hinduminum domed top seat post Milremo stem and Stratlite tour de france bars which all point to it being late forties early fifties 15447 is stamped on the steerer tube .

I now pictures are not the best,

right quick update the owner has sent me some more pics and these words @stevevw

" They might not be the best photos, this is the seat cluster. I did a little bit of rubbing down on the downtube and under the paint i uncovered the original paint and the remains of a transfer which looks like HobbsofBarbican or maybe its just wishful thinking "
