Any opinions on norco Bikes?

Norco, Canadian IIRC? I know a chap who runs a Norco HT MTB of about 10 years vintage and he seems to like it.

I have been commuting 20 miles a day 6days a week on the norco. I have no problems at all, only can compare it to the carrera subway I borrowed the norco is lighter has a better gear range. The only downside is the front forks that can't be totally locked.

Evans only started selling them last year and are the only UK distributor. Apparently they are the largest Canadian manufacturer and sell a lot in N. America. It seems their focus is Sportive style bikes, rather than racier geometries. If that's what you're looking for they seem great value for money. There was a sub-£1000 bike with 105 that I seriously considered.
