Any Oxford types out there?

Couple of questions if anyone can help please. I'm in Oxford at the weekend, heading home on the bike on Sunday. Proposed route takes me out of the city along Marsh Lane and over the Northern bypass. Looking at it on satellite it looks a fast road.
* Is it suitable to ride on safely?
* Is there a cycle lane/footpath (it's difficult to tell from the photo I have)

Thanks in anticipation.

Northern bypass is fast dual carriageway - but there is a very wide cyclepath alongside. Crossing points are limited - most at the road junctions.

In general I cant think of any parts of Oxford I would not cycle in. Where you might not want to use the road (or cannot - banned from ring road) there will be reasonable cycle facilties. (I dont say that very often!)
