Yes no option for quick delivery. Never mind I shall wait impatiently, hoping might be this weekend though.

I am sure the weather will conspire to annoy, hope not though and enjoy the new ride

My criteria were, carbon, for use on long distance rides rather than racing. Here is a reason CAAD10?!?!? alu racing machine?!?!?
Yebbut, FWIW, I own a CAAD10 after previously owning a Trek Madone 5.5 and a Focus Cayo Pro, (both full cf), and I've ridden the CAAD further and longer than I ever did either cf bike.

IMO fit is more important than what it's made from, and the CAAD must fit me better than either cf bike ever did despite being very similar geometry and sizes, just saying :becool:

How long does wiggle take to deliver? Excited

IIRC each bike I've had from Wiggle has arrived within about 5 days, and each one has required minimal setting up and tinkering when it's landed

FYI, keep the box and packaging it comes in. I don't want to be a doom monger, but if you do have any problems in the warranty period that mean it has to go back, it just makes things a whole lot simpler for everyone. Wiggle's return policy under warranty is excellent IME, (returned two Focus bikes under warranty), and TBH if you don't/can't keep/store the box they will courier one to you if need be, but it just drags things out a few more days.

PS: does their order system still ask for your height/inside leg measurement? If so then the saddle height should be set about right as well.

Smokeysmoo... Yes it asked for height and inside leg, couldn't figure out why but you have just explained it!

Thanks for the tip about the box I shall make sure I keep it.

Yes, but those are also more aggressive race geometry bikes I think? The Domane is the more relaxed, sportive Trek. Not sure on Focus but the Cayo is a bum in the air model

Anyway, email today bike is on its way. Didnt spend much time putting that together which is worrying!! Suppose this is a quiet time of the year for them.

It's arrived today all set up nicely. One question the carbon weave ( is that the correct term) is mismatched in a couple of obvious places in that there seems to an obvious not particularly good join. Is this normal on a carbon framed bike?
