My mate's had a visit from the clavicle fairy.
On Tuesday evening at about 17:30, heading south on City Road in London near Finsbury Square. Apparently he was stopped at some temporary lights and when the lights changed something went wrong and he fell, landing on his head and right shoulder (exactly the right accident for the helmet, it seems).
There were lots of other cyclists around, so I'm just wondering if any of you lot were among them - we'd like to know what happened. No shame in not having stopped - apparently he bounced up immediately to drag the bike out of the road. He doesn't have any of the additional injuries you'd expect from being hit by something, but he can't remember exactly how it happened.
