I bought a BTwin Rock Rider 6.5 because it was relatively top of my budget and easy to get hold of without having to have a conversation in French, has anyone had experience of this manufacturer? If so how would you rate their bikes.

Great bikes, the most famous being the Triban 3 & 5 road bikes. The rockriders are seen as decent bikes at that price point and are generally seen as a good buy.

nothing wrong with people speaking French my issue is i don't speak alot of French i have basic French. Certainly couldn't have conversed about buying a bike in French, i can buy a sandwhich though.

I've got a Btwin Riverside 3. Had it about 18 months and done around 1000 miles on it. Love it...although when I bought it I was intending a bit of trekking but, I find I'm doing more road work training for the L to B this year with a friend. It's a bit heavy but has been brilliant...would recommend it and I'd probably go for a Triban 3 if I decide to change to a road bike.

I have a t5, it's alright. Biased towards functional rather than performance but i use it as a commuter so it suits fine for that. Put new tyres and brake pads on it and considering a new saddle, apart from that it doesn't need a lot else for the first year or so.
