Yeah I was there. Absolutely loved it! Never been to the area before but thought it was superb scenery and terrain. Some of the roads weren't the best (I think we hit every set of traffic lights in the region, and some of the roads before the first feed stop were quite busy and got congested as people ground up the short sharp climbs), but overall I massively enjoyed it.
After slogging around in the wind and rain in the winter, it was nice to be reminded why I got into cycling!

There were indeed some interesting interpretations of tarmac and a few oddly judgemental drivers too - half on our side of the road and yet we got tooted at...
I found the section after Feed Station 2 a hard slog as well. Up Jibjacks Hill (the section before Kidds downhill) was a good test but yep, great ride and really enjoyed it. What else do you have planned?
