My lad can't watch it, he leaves the room. Something about Paxo being an arrogant, condescending twit or something.

I love Paxo with his sneering condescension.
I find it a refreshing change from the usual slimy, obsequious hosts.

He knows almost nothing about classical music (and reveals his ignorance regularly), so I suspect opera is a bit tricky for him. He's got a basic grounding in history*, so far as I can tell.

*that is, the history of Dead White Englishmen and people who had the misfortune to meet them.
