anyone got an orro ?

I have been looking at the orro oxygen has anyone got one. Local retailer has me nearly convinced to go for the one with 3t wheelset. He says the 25 mm wheels are the new 23 !. Great spec on it and it is very well priced. does anyone know much about them ?

Hi Terrence.

I have been seeing these advertised a lot in the cycling mags I buy (4 per month) & one of them is running a full test soon.

It looks great & seems good value too with a sub 1kg frameset.

The Orro brand is new but it looks like they are on the money straight off, good looks, light weight, great finishing kit (3T) & I currently won't use anything else having the 3T Team bars, stem & seatpost, although I have never tried the wheels.

Who is the retailer ? Can't be many of them, it's so new.

My Laddo in the shop is quite correct in saying 25 (mm) is the new 23.

With regard to tyre sizes there has been a big shift towards bigger volume tyres, even in the Pro Peloton & wheel manufacturers have recognised this by building wheels with a larger internal diameter.

I still run 23's & some Specialized 24's too.

Haven't read up much about them but have seen the oxygen and the gold in the flesh (they were prises for 2 lucky buggers in a sportif I done a couple of weeks back) very nice looking bikes, the gold is the higher spec and has Di2 but I did prefer the look of the oxygen

And no I didn't bloody win one
