I put a ridiculously low bid on a ebay bike thinking I didn't stand a chance of winning it. And won it - before realising that it was collection only. Doh. I wasn't even drunk so I have no excuse for such idiocy. It's just a bit too far to drive from York...

So I'm hoping that one of my CC buddies will be able to collect it for me and deliver it to a bike shop so I can have them box it up. I'm happy to pay to cover your time and petrol. And my eternal gratitude of course. Let me know by pm if you think you might. Thanks.

I live in Tavistock about 30 mins away from Plymouth, do bike shops deliver stuff for you then? I can probably help you if they do

Thinking about it, we have a Specialized concept store that courier things, drop me a pm

A bike shop has the boxes and I can arrange a courier to collect from there easier. They'll want a few quid to box it.

I pass there in the car every Friday, so not worried about diesel costs
