I am looking for trousers which, while being designed to cycle in, look smart enough in the office. I have a four mile each way daily cycle commute and no showering/changing facilities at work. I would like to find a physical shop, rather than an online one, where I could see and try on some trousers. If anyone knows of such a place in the London area please post details. Many thanks.

The big Evans on Mortimer Street W1 also worth a look, maybe try the Cyclesurgery branches around Spitalfields too

OYB are good too - If you leave your bike outside though, make sure it's locked up with at least one D Lock - had a bike nicked while popping in for 15 minutes

When I do this type of trip, I tend to wear Rohan or Craghoppers with an Endura lined short. I use the "Kiwi Pro Stretch" for comfort and semi-formal events, and a pair of Rohan Fusion which can be picked up in their sale for formal events
These are cheaper. A pair of Craghopper trousers can be picked up in TKMaxx and other discount stores for about £15
