Just had my new prescription and it ain't good news. Now I already keep a pair of glasses in a jersey pocket for repair work but my eyesight has now deteriorated to such a degree I can no longer read the words on the maps on my Etrex 20 and OS maps. Fine when following the blue line but when scrolling the map around? Useless. Distance-wise I'm fine but reading small text unassisted? No chance.
I quite fancy affecting a monocle but that doesn't seem cheap or practical.
I like my current riding glasses and came across these add on lenses which can be "stuck" to any sunglasses to tun them into bifocals.
Anyone used/using them or something similar?
