I'm hoping you may be able to help.

I have just ordered a Samsung Galaxy s2, and I'm looking for the best cycling app for it.

What do you use and what can it do?

Can you also advise on suitable bike mount.

Thanks
Phil..

It does loads of things inc mapping, lots of stats and it is free. I tend to just put the phone in my jersey pocket in a plastic bag.

Thanks for the advice, I went for Endomondo. I used it for the first time today, had it in back pocket. I did 10 miles then stopped at a tea break. I paused it, but when started the return trip, resume was not an option; so I pressed start. I had it on alto pause, should I have just not touched it?

How do I link with the CC team? Any other useful tips?

You can see us chatting about endomondo here http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/endomondo.92838

To join the team is http://www.endomondo.com/teams/280461

and there are two challenges (I know about) that CC people are participating in:

STOP ends the workout. Don't press it unless you are done. The other button will either say PAUSE or RESUME. If you are already autopaused, then you should do nothing. You can turn off the GPS from settings menu to save battery, just remember to turn it on again before you start moving.

Note: endomondo site is being sluggish today, it's usually more usable.

You can add previous workouts from your phone, or from the website including drawing routes on a map or uploading gpx files. If you don't do that, you'll have a lot of catching up to do in March.

that's enough to get you started, I hope.

Edit: just re-read your post. If you pressed pause, then I have always found I could resume again. I suspect you accidently hit STOP instead.
