Just be honest Arch - you really want to be an elephant's mum.

Not sure I want to give birth to it!

(And being an auntie is great, you get to hand them back...)

But oh, I'd love a chance to play with a baby like that. Seeing what they've been through, regaining their trust and wellbeing, must be an amazing thing to do.

I don't think I was suggesting you could be elepreggy for 13 months, or give birth to the baby*, only that spiritually you've simply been born the wrong sort of mammal, and therefore can only aspire to your true maternal desires, rather than be in any position to achieve them in reality.

I can understand why you like elephants and their infants though, I find them fascinating and likeable myself.

*Unless of course there's something you haven't told us about NT!!!!!

I like the idea that spiritually, I'm an elephant..... I think....

The thing that's completely guaranteed to turn me all soppy about baby elephants is the way their trunks and ears flop and flap about when they run....

I haven't noticed too many elephantine characteristics in NT, except perhaps a fondness for buns...;) Oh, and his enormous....
