B+M Ixon IQ has a nice trapezoidal shape and little side spill, nearest thing I've seen to a car type beam.
An updated version with a T6 LED would be ideal for me. A nice bright patch on the road to pick out the potholes clearly.
Or even better, 2 T6 LEDs in one housing,still maintaining the same shape for near illlumination (a dipped beam) and the 2nd LED giving light further up the road (main beam), with a remote switch under the thumb to toggle between the 2 modes.
Surely not to much to ask?
