Maybe he is just an arse on a phone, rather than the problem being the phone.

To answer the question:
I think we are but resistance is futile! (The Borg from Star Trek were well right)

Okay, the man was too busy texting to notice what was going on and grab the pram, but the responsibility actually lies with the mother, Shirley? Well, she might have been called Brenda or Edwina or some other name, but whatever she was called, she should have put the pram's brake on!

Fortunately, nobody was hurt!

Perhaps technology is the answer.......

I am sure there must be a safe pram parking app for Apple /Android

I bussed and Brompton'd it to work this morning as the cycle paths were lethal. As I sat there listening to Test Match Special on good old long wave, on my trusty old transistor radio, as just about everyone else who got on board were busy faffing about with their mobiles, I decided I definately have a long way to go to get into this technology lark (and I hope I never get there!)

I was driving through a pedestrianised city centre street last week (very slowly) and a man walked within 6" of the van whilst messing about on his phone. We slowed right down, at which point chummy looked up and sort of jumped out the way. We were approaching him for about 2 minutes and I didn't see him look up once. We have a brightly coloured van with lights all over it. Thankfully we weren't in a rush to go anywhere....!

they're obsessed I tell you, obsessed! if they're not checking up on ArseBook, Tw@tter or just randomly waving their limp paw across the newfangled touchscreen, they're moaning that the battery has died.
