Nice idea with the range extender - a decent power source that's typically poorly-suited to the characteristics needed to power a road vehicle directly; that gap bridged nicely by the electric system. Not sure about "never running out of charge" if using a 35KW turbine to top up the batteries while they've being drained by what, 900KW's worth of motors.. but they seem confident.

Also nice that IIRC turbines are pretty flexible re. fuel, so it could potentially run off less exotic stuff once Petrol's been priced out of all practical availability.
