Have not had time to post this since our return from Delft. We stayed on a campsite for 2 weeks in August with our motorhome and bikes.Did not know what to expect with regard to cycling. What a surprise we had. Riding on closed cycle roads, vehicles stopping for us, sign posted routes. Most of all was the friendliness of the people. On one ride to Gouda we were not sure of the route and a guy stopped on motorbyke came over and gave us directions without being asked. Safest way of traveling is by bike in Holland. I wonder if the Government could see their way to putting a system of cycle roads the same as Holland or is this pie in the sky.
