On a forum I go on dedicated to another sport (my football team) there is a particularly odious waste of DNA who scuttles about on there. He has another partner-in-crime who work together and try to discredit anyone with a point of view different to his. Well during the Tour de France, he came on to post one of the stupidest things you tend to see on such forums (fora?); he came on to say he didn't like cycling! When pointed out that was like going on to a heavy-metal forum to say 'I don't like heavy metal, me', he got into a huff and claimed everyone took drugs.
Move on a few weeks and a simple posting of mine about football, brought the claim that I only posted as I was confused over all the 'bike drugs' I took! I asked him to do one of two things; apologise or substantiate the claim. His response? A laughing face symbol. He has failed to do either other than that and his pet Meerkat who usually jumps in on the failed DNA's behalf, has stayed out of this so he has no back-up. The site mod has actually stated that I would be in the right to go down the legal avenue and of course I have zero intention of doing so but it's noticeable that his prolific visits have reduced to a trickle and all away from that thread.
