Very nice. The rear quarter, tres tender with a light crackling that's almost like a Tempura batter. Very filling. Bit sad seeing the little trotter on the end though. Shan't make a habit of it, a once only event methinks.

On my travels ive had...
The biggest mother of a barbeque in Uruguay...gawld only knows what meat it was, hulking great chunks of it

Stuffed pigeon in Egypt...i like pigeon, but i didnt like it stuffed, bloody awful.

Barbequed songbirds in Cyprus...not bad actually.

I was in Spain for a few days and went up into the mountains near Castellon for a ride out and something to eat. I dont speak Spanish, they didnt speak English
I looked at the menu and understood 'Jamon'...i'll have that please...a questioning reply came that i didnt understand...no, just the jamon por favor...
Of course, i just got a plate of various cuts of cold meat...i was bloody starving I stayed that way.

Also on the same trip...i was in a hotel where no-one spoke English..i had to phone the wife and read her the dishes on the menu, she'd plumb it in on the internet to find out what it was...took me about 1/2 hour each night to order dinner
