I’ve had this bike rack for about two years now and never had an issue. Unfortunately my daughter has put the tightening band in the wrong hole and tightened up the band on the arms carrier (please see picture). i have contacted the company i purchased from but they just want me to buy another.
Can anybody tell me how to loosen or release this as i really don't want to break this and purchase another if it can be avoided. So far I have used isesamo tools and tried prising it out but it will not come.
The picture you see below is the correct way to do things
Unfortunately my daughter placed the band in the incorrect position just above where the white switch keylock is (incorrect)
