Supposedly a vet good chance of it this evening - clear clear skies here in the Scottish Borders but nothing seen so far, could be worth taking a look outside, they are worth seeing.
Think I will take the bivy bag and have a walk up into the hills - trouble is it will be light in a few hours, hardly dark now.
Sat yesterday morning out until 3am, nothing showed here...
It never really got dark..
A deep orange silhouetting the hills on the horizon(a lighter orange just now)
It did show in south Wales, southern England, southern Ireland and northern France and Belgium.
It was seen spectacularly later in NA and Down Under much earlier yesterday.
It's still 'active' as I write but not expected to be storm status but another CME is heading our way and may give us another chance 25th...
the 24th was a combination of three CME and matched the previous best show of the year on St Patrick's Day.
Worth watching this
