On BBC breakfast today a 'cat expert' explained why cats purr, roll around on their back and rub the side of their faces against objects, not sure wy she was asked to do that, not exactly news

I don't think it's a 'nowadays' thing. There always used to be an 'and finally...' slot on the news, something quirky and upbeat. Why should news all be doom and gloom?
